The Department of Health engaged Artify to develop and deliver the Public Art Plan for the Health Innovation Hub, a WA State Government project located at 128-132 Murray Street in the Perth CBD, on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar at Yandilup. The Hub will serve as an entry point into the state's health and biomedical innovation ecosystem, offering a central city space for collaboration, research and early stage development, and connecting through to the QEII Health and Biomedical Precinct and the Floreat Biomedical Manufacturing Hub.

The Hub occupies the former City of Perth Electricity and Gas Department Building, a heritage listed Inter-War Stripped Classical building that first opened in 1927. Working alongside TRCB Architects, who are leading a sensitive internal upgrade and fit out, Artify shaped a curatorial approach that honours this layered history while looking to the future. Delivered in alignment with the State Government Percent for Art Scheme, the plan sets out the site context, curatorial vision, artwork opportunities, procurement approach and implementation guidelines.

The curatorial vision, Windows into Industry, positions two exhibition spaces in the building's Murray Street frontage as sites of industry on display, offering the public a first point of welcome and a glimpse into the work of the Hub. Two themes guide the artists, History Revealed, which draws on Western Australia's rich medical research legacy and the State Government medical artefact archive, and Expressive Futures, which invites experimentation across material and digital technologies. The opportunities comprise a 3D installation artwork and rotating digital screen content, conceived as connected works to be developed by a single artist so the material and digital forms speak to one another.

Artify is guiding the project through the full public art process, from curatorial framework and artist brief through to Expression of Interest, shortlisting, concept design and commissioning. The role spans stakeholder coordination with the Department of Health, TRCB and OMRI as tenant, budget and program oversight, and delivery of the artworks through to installation and handover.
