The Wesley College Centenary Project is a significant campus renewal and public realm initiative in the City of South Perth, on Whadjuk Noongar Country. Artify was engaged as Public Art Coordinator to deliver a culturally responsive public art program across the campus, grounded in the College's cultural narrative, Moorditj Maali, and designed to give students, staff, visitors and the wider community a welcoming experience throughout the precinct.

Underpinned by extensive Aboriginal engagement and stakeholder consultation, Artify developed a comprehensive framework for the commissioning and delivery of the program. Our scope spanned the full pathway, from start-up, review and implementation strategy through artist briefs, procurement and selection, to concept design, documentation, fabrication, installation and handover.

Artify recommended the direct engagement of a carefully curated, majority First Nations artist team: Kamsani Bin Salleh (Lead Artist), Rickeeta Walley, and Richard Walley OAM (Cultural Advisor), working together in the spirit of reconciliation and walking together. The team was chosen for their complementary styles and their experience in mentorship and co-design, positioning them to lead creative workshops with students and build a sense of ownership across the College community. Artify supported the artists from concept through to installation, providing design assist and technical coordination, and working with architects, engineers, fabricators and contractors to translate concepts into buildable outcomes.
