Artwork Opportunity

Main Roads Western Australia, Tonkin Extension Alliance and Artify are seeking WA-based artists and creatives to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to design artwork for integrated anti-throw screens as part of the Tonkin Highway Extension and Thomas Road Upgrade Project (THETRU).

The opportunity forms part of the Thomas Road and Tonkin Highway interchange in Byford, Western Australia, with artworks integrated into large-scale perforated screen outcomes embedded within the infrastructure.

This Design-Only opportunity would suit artists working across graphic design, illustration and digital art, with experience developing artwork for large-scale applications. Artists should be confident in preparing and supplying artwork as digital files and be interested in how art can contribute to integrated infrastructure outcomes.

Artists living within the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and/or with connections to the area are strongly encouraged to apply.
